I started taking pictures when I was eight and started writing about them some twenty years later . My first camera was a Zorki 4k which took me the best part of a year to save up for (£47.60). My first computer was a Tandon 286 PC (green screen) running WordPerfect. Over the years the technology has changed but my appetite for photography has remained constant. Most of my shots are taken on the fly and this has only benefited from the advent of high quality phone cameras. I sometimes miss the flexibility of an SLR (and the excitement of a darkroom) but to quote Chase Jarvis “The best camera is the one that’s with you.” I hope you enjoy this site and if you should have any thoughts or comments please contact me via email or follow me on my instagram page.
